John Farina is the Artistic Director for Pipe Dreams Studio Theatre's 2017-2018 season. This season John will be directing LIZZIE and co-directing Unlatched: A Devise Work with Denise Myers. He last directed PDST's productions of Cock by Mike Bartlett and What I Didn't Learn in College by Richard Orloff. John also served as the Assistant Director for Millikin University's productions of Rough Magic by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa and Shakespeare's As You Like It. He was also Props Master for PDST's production of A Nightmare on Backstreet and Assistant Props Master for PDST's production of Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson. John looks forward to bringing this season to life!
Elizabeth Pillow is a senior Stage Management major at Millikin. Her credits include, Assistant Stage Manager for Nice Work If You Can Get It, Stage Manager for Mauritius, Buyer & Cellar, The Lion King Kids, Signin' In the Rain, Jr. , and is the Production Manager for Pipe Dreams Studio Theatre. She has also been a part of the New Musicals Workshop for the past two years as Company Manager. You can see her upcoming work as Stage Manager/Sound Designer for Pipe Dreams first production of the year, The Undeniable Sound Of Right Now, as well as her Scenic and Sound Design for LIZZIE, Pipe Dreams second show of the semester.
Taylor Stuenkel is a senior BA Theatre major at Millikin and serves as the Managing Director for Pipe Dreams. She has been involved with many Pipe Dreams productions including A Nightmare on Backstreet (Stage Manager), Cock (Stage Manager), Nevermore: The Imaginary Life and Mysterious Death of Edgar Allan Poe (Assist. Costume Designer/Wardrobe Supervisor) and most recently The Undeniable Sound of Right Now (Costume Designer). She is so excited for this upcoming season and to collaborate with such amazing artists!
Maggie is a Senior theatre major with a dance minor from St. Louis, MO. This is her second year serving as Marketing director of Pipe Dreams Studio Theatre. She is currently working at Kirkland Fine Arts Center as a house manager. In addition to her administrative work she also has been involved in 4 shows here at Pipe Dreams: Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson (ensemble), A Nightmare on Backstreet (Tee)and The Last Smoker in America (Phyllis) and Nevermore (Player 4). She is also the Female Swing for Millikin University's mainstage production of Wintertime, opening in December. She is a member of Millikin's sketch comedy group, Un Bit Butter, an active member of Tri Delta Sorority and has spent the last 3 summers performing in multiple shows at Six Flags Saint Louis.
Laney serves as the Director of Development for Pipe Dreams Studio Theatre. She is a senior BFA Theatre Administration major from St. Charles, IL. Besides being a part of the Pipe Dreams, Laney is also the President of the Panhellenic Council and a member of Delta Delta Delta. This is her 4th semester working with Pipe Dreams.
Claire Schmidt is the Director of New Works at Pipe Dreams Studio Theatre. Schmidt is a senior from Kaukauna, WI majoring in theatre with an English Literature Minor. She is the President of the theatre service fraternity on campus, Alpha Psi Omega, as well as an active member of Phi Kappa Phi.
